In shamanic tribal cultures, shamans for many thousands of years have provided spiritual healing for the members of their tribe by journeying to the rapid beat of drum or rattle, and other forms, upon a request for help, to worlds of non-ordinary reality. There they meet with benevolent spirit teachers and helping spirit animals to obtain healing, healing help, or answers to questions.
Dis-ease is seen to stem from a personal root cause that may be loss of personal or spiritual power, fear, negative energies intruding into the spirit body, loss of parts of the personal spirit, and/or possession by spirits and demons. Dis-ease, if left unhealed, progresses from outer layers of the spirit body into the physical body.

Soul Retrieval is for people who feel they have lost part of their spirit, soul, or self due to traumatic life events. The level of physical or emotional pain that causes soul loss varies widely from person to person. A part of the spirit, representing the age and appearance of the person at the time of the trauma, splits off from the spirit body and, carrying a burden of pain along with the memory and emotion of the event, travels into a space of non-ordinary reality where it becomes lost. Spirit/soul parts that agree to return, come back with the lost vital soul essence, and additional memory of the event, but without the trauma.

Psychopomp is a shamanic method of guiding souls of the dead "on to the Light" -- to the place in the world of Spirit that they need to go -- following death to ensure that they do not become lost and stuck here on the earth plane. Those spirits that are confused or refuse to go on at time of death may become stuck as ghosts and poltergeists in a building or a piece of land, or attached with a person. Family members or loved ones who feel the presence of a departed person may request psychopomp to check on or aid successful transition.

Healing Past Lives is performed to heal trauma and unresolved emotions resulting from past lives that continue to influence the present life. All emotions unresolved at the point of death must be resolved by forgiveness, compassion, and unconditional love for the people previously blamed for what happened. Otherwise the emotions of hate, rage, terror, jealousy can "bleed through" to this lifetime and color relationships, especially those involving the same people (same "soul family" members) in similar or different roles. Healing is done from the present, with present consciousness, by means of Deep Level Guided Journey.

Coma Work is a special form of divination for loved ones of those in coma, and healing work for those in coma. Coma, from the shamanic viewpoint, is a state of being where (1) most or all of the spirit (soul) is away from the physical body, possibly lost in a world of non-ordinary reality, and trying to return to go on living in physical form, (2) the spirit (soul) is attempting to leave connection with the physical body and this Earth plane, or (3) the spirit is undecided and is going through a period of decision making. The spirit’s needs and desires can be questioned and helped through journeying to where the spirit is located.
